Welcome to the Drupal CMS Academy! Like our fellow Academics at The Webcast Academy, we provide a collaborative learning environment for those interested in learning how to use the Drupal content management system. The Drupal CMS Academy supports learners as they maximize their performance in the installation, administration and customization of a Drupal web installation.

Drupal - From the Beginning

This is step one for some of us to drop questions and answers, helpful links, and resources from the CMS academy in one place as we go through learning how to work Drupal from start to finish. (OK..so one is never done!)

Cathy E and I are working on some small issues so we thought we would start a new forum to get answers and help. Please jump in and add anything you want to this forum.

Drupal CMS Academy Live Web Cast - February 19, 2007

Several technology bumps in the road during this "All in the Family" web cast, but what fun it was! We laughed, we cried when we lost the stream, we Yugmad! We also fixed the Worldbridges.net Drupal installation (looks like Jeff forgot to turn off the audio module before he upgraded it), talked about a few interesting modules (linked here) and began helping out Drupal Newbie Barb with her Matodor site. Can't wait to see her progress next week!

Drupal CMS Academy Live Web Cast - January 22, 2007

In this session, we used Yugma as our screen sharing application. The group seemed to prefer Yugma's screen sharing to WebHuddle, but unfortunately we had some problems with the software about half way through the show and switched over to Vyew (with only limited success). In terms of Drupal goodness, Dave talked about the Web FM (file manager) module, Jeff L and Jeff F shared updates on their latest Drupal projects and issues, Jen referred the group to Drupal support resources (including the IRC support channel at #drupal-support) and Dave spent the rest of the session chatting with other Drupalers in the IRC support channel. Can't wait to see what next week holds for the group!
